India aims to spend $1.4 Trillion building Infrastructure. Prime Minister launched Gati Shakti – National Master Plan for Multimodal Connectivity, essentially a digital platform to bring 16 Ministries including Railways and Roadways together for integrated planning and coordinated implementation of infrastructure connectivity projects. With the goal of developing infrastructure to lower logistic costs and improve the economy. It is estimated that India Contributes to at least 25% of the Global Digital Content Production in the Construction & allied Infrastructure Space alone. India is a preferred engineering destination for several large MNC design firms. Besides the IT & ITES service providers from India constitutes to significant share of global digital content delivery efforts.

ABOUT CDCPIndia

founded in 2020, The Confederation of Digital Construction Practitioners (CDCPIndia) is an Indian National Society for BIM & Inclusive Digitalization. CDCPIndia is a non-government organization, a not-for profit, non-commercial, and vendor-neutral National society registered under The Societies Registration Act, 1860 and The Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. CDCPIndia has been conceived and brought to life by a group of dedicated & experienced Indian professionals from the field of digitalization of built-environment. The primary mission of CDCPIndia is to Inspire, collaborate and advance Digital processes & technologies in the Indian infrastructure and construction sector. Key Highlights

The Inauguration Ceremony will observe eminent guests from the Government, Policy Makers, International Guests of Honor and Eminent Industry Leadership. We will also be releasing the INDIA Strategy Document and formally commence the India Operations of buildingSMARTIndia Chapter.

TRACK 1 – “INCLUSIVE” DIGITAL TWIN POLICY FOR INDIA

As India paves its way through the Amrit Kaal and marching confidently towards achieving its infrastructure goals, the policy makers and government has set vision to adopt digitalization as an integral part of the development. This is to ensure that we can achieve our goals efficiently with optimal resource utilization. Adoption of Digital Twin at a National Scale will require an “Inclusive” approach to ensure National and Stakeholder Interest. This session will touch down on critical implementation and strategic aspects of a National Digital Twin Program.

TRACK 2 – INDIA – BIM CAPITAL OF THE WORLD

India has been a Digital Content Producer for global AECO firms and is already a preferring destination for Global Engineering and Digital Services Outsourcing. With participation starting from Strategic to grass root level implementation across projects in India and overseas, the Indian BIM Community brings in a global experience, scale and a great promise to serve the global community in addressing its BIM needs. This session will discuss opportunities and challenges around the same.

TRACK 3 – INFRASTRUCTURE DIGITALIZATION & “DIGITAL INTEROPERABILITY”

The mandates and push for Infrastructural Digitalization will result in production of more digital contents on projects across platforms. A Successful approach ensures that there is Digital Interoperability and Open framework across the programs and Owner’s/Asset manager’s interest is taken care of. In this session we will discuss about initiatives around Open BIM and Digital Interoperability.

TRACK 4 – SUSTAINABLE MULTI-MODAL TRANSPORT (RAIL, AIRPORTS, ROADS AND HIGHWAYS)

India is the only country which has set ambitious infrastructural goals on one side and at the same
time, we have also set a very ambitious goals on carbon management and sustainable development. Digital Technologies will assist in not only assessment of Sustainable parameters of Assets but will help in making the delivery more efficient. In this session we will discuss Carbon Management while marching towards achieving our infrastructural goals.

TRACK 5 – NATIONAL BIM STANDARDS – GLOBAL ALIGNMENT AND LOCAL APPROACH

A National BIM Standard is a need of the time and to secure India’s participation in the Global Market and to align with the economic vision of India, the Standards that we adopt must be in alignment with global standards. This session will touch down on real implantation issues of Standards, best practices, Strategic directions and frameworks which will be important for delivering a consistent digital outcomes on Projects.
